Rakhee stands out for her Award winning instinct for good TV. Her encyclopaedic knowledge of radio and TV comes from 10 years of experience working on light entertainment and heavy-weight documentaries, as well as consumer and current affairs.
With names like The Undateables, 24 Hours in A&E, Watchdog, The Wright Stuff, Strictly Come Dancing and Gordon Ramsay’s F Word on her CV, Rakhee knows all there is to know about telling a good story and building trust with people – be it vulnerable people telling their story on TV, politicians or celebrities. As well as producing award winning programmes, Rakhee is experienced at getting ideas commissioned with TV and radio broadcasters.
Since making her move to PR, Rakhee has run two successful Public Health campaigns for Brent, one of the most deprived boroughs in London, encouraging residents to cycle more and eat less sugar. She helped launch the Duke of Edinburgh's Award's Diamond Challenge with a bang and developed a hard-hitting campaign encouraging people to focus on their bowel health.
With a Classics degree from Cambridge, Rakhee is a self-confessed geek and has a natural curiosity and love of learning which enables her to quickly become an expert in a subject area, getting to know the leading players and key issues. Rakhee is also a passionate foodie and if she’s not trying out one of London’s new restaurant openings, she’ll be trying a new Ottolenghi or Nigel Slater recipe at home.
