We got people thinking about their kidney health

Kidney Research UK’s Go Purple Month: When a survey revealed that three quarters of Brits had little or no knowledge of kidney disease, we put the UK’s ‘most-ignored organ’ into the spotlight. Launching an integrated traditional and social media campaign for the charity’s Go Purple month, we got the UK public thinking - and talking about kidneys and their kidney health.

To increase awareness of the disease, we asked high profile celebrities, kidney patients and the public to share something - big or small – that they #couldntlivewithout. Due to the shareability of the ask and involvement of twitter savvy celebs, the #couldntlivewithout campaign secured Kidney Research UK over 700 new followers and more twitter impressions in the month of March than the previous five months combined.

In the traditional media, we secured an impressive three minute feature piece on ITV’s Lorraine, along with coverage in Take a Break, Real People magazine and a number of high circulation regional newspapers.
