We made integrated health and social care more than just a concept

When two highly influential health and wellbeing consultancies, PPL and GE Healthcare Finnamore, wanted to launch their Integrating Care partnership, they called us in to help.

With an ageing population, budget cuts, and the wellbeing of patients at risk, the need for health and social care to work in a more integrated way is greater than ever.

A lot of talk, but very little action allowed Integrating Care to step up and focus on the solutions to delivering person-centred care effectively and efficiently.

Working closely with our friends at Jory & Co we developed the positioning, brand and strategy, as well as the comms plan to target health and social care providers, decision makers and policy formers. While running a proactive press office, we targeted the specialist media with case studies, opinion and discussion pieces from round-table events, and offered comments with a new take on topical issues.

Coverage was regularly secured in Health Service Journal; The MJ; National Health Executive; Guardian Healthcare; Local Government Chronicle; GP Online; Public Sector Executive and NHS Voices.

We also ran Integrating Care’s social media attracting 800 high-quality Twitter followers from a standing start; and secured speaker slots at key events including The King’s Fund annual integrated care summit.

An increased profile, reputation for real change, and track record of addressing challenges in a new way established the Integrating Care partnership as the go-to for policy makers and professionals on the ground.
